600 000 t/a Ethylene Project Starts in Lanzhou  

Lanzhou Petrochemical Company Limited's 600 000 t/a ethylene project started formally construction in the early March 2005 by CNPC with an investment of RMB6 billion. The project approved by the State Council in November 2003 is one of the four refining bases of CNPC, occupying 25 hectares, including units of ethylene, polypropylene (PP), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), all-density polyethylene, attachments and public engineering.   CNPC No.7 Construction Corporation takes in hand the construction of gasoline hydrogenation, PP No.2 section and attachments of sphere pot.
