On September 8, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology issued Development Plan for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Industry in Beijing (2020-2025), setting forth targets to be achieved in two phases.

In detail, the document calls for cultivating 3-5 world-influential hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (HFCV) enterprises, selling 3 000 HFCVs and increasing production value of the HFCV industry to over RMB8.5 billion, all by 2023 (by 2025, 5-10, more than 10 000 HFCVs, over RMB24 billion).
