On July 23, Anhui Province Natural Gas announced that it would set up a joint-venture company Anhui Nenggang Clean Energy Co., Ltd. with Anhui Port Operation Group to jointly invest in the construction, operation and management of LNG terminals along the Yangtze River and inland river, transfer stations, LNG vehicle-ship integrated refueling stations, gas stations and related businesses. The joint-venture will have a registered capital of RMB50 million, in which Anhui Province Natural Gas will take a 51% stake for a subscribed capital of RMB25.5 million.   

According to Anhui Province Natural Gas, the two parties will use the joint-venture as a platform to make full use of their respective advantages and build LNG refueling stations at major ports in accordance with the principles of overall planning, overall design, and distributed implementation. The establishment of the joint-venture company will help Anhui Province Natural Gas promote the construction of integrated LNG refueling stations for vehicles and ships along the Yangtze River and at inland river ports, and further broaden its LNG business scope.
