On July 18, a national key laboratory alliance regarding clean and efficient conversion of coal was established, including members of national key coal conversion laboratory and national coal indirect liquefaction laboratory (both from Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences), national key coal liquefaction and coal chemical laboratory of Yankuang Group, etc. With the help of national key laboratories, the alliance will establish an innovation platform and a R&D system, striving for breakthroughs in core technologies and cleaner, more efficient conversion of coal.
