China’s PMI Reaches 50.9% in June

China’s PMI (Purchasing Manager's Index) was up 0.3 percentage points MoM to 50.9% in June. Three subindexes – production index, new order index and supplier delivery time index – all exceeded critical point.

In detail, production index was up 0.7 percentage points MoM to 53.9%, indicating continuous MoM rebound in output of manufacturing industry. New order index was up 0.5 percentage points MoM to 51.4%, a signal that demand of manufacturing industry kept recovering. As for others, inventory index of raw materials was up 0.3 percentage points MoM to 47.6%, while employee index was down 0.3 percentage points MoM to 49.1%.
