On June 9, Ecombine Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. officially started the construction of the 300 kt/a chemical rubber project, the first of its kind in the world. This marks the industrialization of chemical rubber green new material EVE rubber moving into the fast lane, which is expected to greatly enhance the performance of rubber tyre products and promote the rapid iterative upgrade of the entire industry.

Settled in the Dongjiakou Economic Zone in Qingdao, the project adopts a new type of chemical rubber technology independently researched and developed with complete intellectual property rights, which overturns the physical dry mixing method of rubber and filler that has been used in the rubber industry for 100 years and breaks through the traditional classic wear theory in the field of rubber materials. After the 300 kt/a project achieves full-load operation, it is expected to attain a scale of tens of billions of output value.

This original innovative technology is hailed as the "fourth milestone" technology in the rubber tyre industry. The new green material EVE glue produced by this technology is praised by the industry as "liquid gold". The high-performance tyres made from this material have achieved wet-slip performance levels up to the A-level standard of the EU label regulations, rolling resistance indexes have reached level B or above, and the wear resistance index has also been improved by more than 20% compared with traditional tyres. Comprehensive performance has reached the world's leading level.
