The General Administration of Customs of China has conducted export commodity inspection since April 10 on medical masks, medical protective clothing, infrared thermometers, ventilators, surgical caps, medical goggles, medical gloves, medical shoe covers, patient monitors, medical disinfectant wipes and medical disinfectants.

The new inspection – different from previous ones focusing on export quantity, tort related issues, misinvoicing, etc. – aims to strengthen control over the quality of the 11 kinds of medical supplies.
