Ningbo Jinfa New Materials Company (hereinafter referred to as “Ningbo Jinfa) held a kick-off ceremony for its 1 200 kt/a polypropylene (PP) thermoplastic elastomer and new modified material project, with a total investment of RMB10.5 billion.
The project is planned to be constructed in two phases. With a total investment of RMB6 billion, Phase I project will be completed and started up by the end of 2023, mainly including a 600 kt/a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit, a 800 kt/a PP unit, a 400 kt/a modified PP new materials line and supporting public works. The second phase project will have an investment of RMB4.5 billion and will consist of a 600 kt/a PDH unit and a 400 kt/a PP unit, to be completed and commissioned by the end of 2026.
