On December 7, 2019, Kaixiang Fine Chemical and China Mobile Henan Sanmenxia Branch signed a 5G + smart chemical strategic cooperation agreement. Kaixiang Fine Chemical takes the lead in Henan province in deployment of "5G + smart chemical".

   According to the agreement, China Mobile Henan Sanmenxia Branch will complete the construction of 5G base stations in Kaixiang Fine Chemical and achieve the coverage of 5G basic applications by the first half of 2020. The 5G technologies featured with high traffic, low latency, and large access can enable Kaixiang Fine Chemical to realize real-time transmission of industrial video, real-time monitoring of field operations, real-time operation in high-risk areas, real-time upload of production data, and device installation, the accurate three-dimensional positioning of people, cars, and objects, which are of great significance for the company to achieve the goal of “reducing staff, increasing efficiency, improving quality and safety”.

   On such basis, the two parties will jointly build a 5G + MEC platform, which will realize separate networking and slice management of production data, keep sensitive data within factories, and provide strong support for the company’s information security.
