MOC Ends Anti-dumping Measures on MEK from Japan and Taiwan of China

The Ministry of Commerce of China (MOC) had imposed anti-dumping duties on methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) originating from Japan and Taiwan of China for five years, beginning November 22, 2007, and then extended them for another five years, from November 21, 2013 to November 20, 2018 when the MOC announced that it would conduct an expiry review on November 21, 2018 as required by mainland MEK industry representatives.

   On November 7, 2019 mainland MEK industry representatives submitted an application for terminating the expiry review. The MOC approved it and terminated the anti-dumping measures on November 20, 2019.
