According to news from Horgos Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Xinjiang province, Central Asia Gas Pipelines has transmitted 32.1 scf of natural gas to China by October 31, 2017, increasing by 13.33% YOY.
China-Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline starts at the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and runs through central Uzbekistan and southern Kazakhstan before entering China at the border pass of Horgos in Xinjiang region. Its AB dual lines are linked up with the Second West-East Gas Pipeline and Line C with third West-East Gas Pipeline in China, which ensures the demand of living fuel for 400 million people along the lines, as well as at Hongkong as far as possible.
Since the transmission of natural gas from Central Asia Gas Pipeline to China, the gas pipeline has been operated safely and stably for eight years. Presidents from China, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan turned on the gas flow together at a Turkmen refinery in December 2009, and Horgos Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has totally inspected 1 996.6 billion scf of imported natural gas until October 31, 2017.
