Sinopec Takes the Lead to Undertake Three National Key Research and Development Program Projects

On November 6, the project implementation scheme demonstration and kick-off meeting of three national key research and development program projects undertaken by Sinospec including “Key Production Technology of Clean Gasoline Meeting the State Emission Standard VI”, “Key Production Technology of Clean Diesel Meeting the State Emission Standard VI” and “Key Technology of Vegetable Based Lubricating Oil with High Performance” were held in Beijing.
“Key Production Technology of Clean Gasoline Meeting the State Emission Standard VI” project focuses on breakthrough of technical bottleneck on preparation of high-performance clean gasoline component and intelligent control of molecular level production process, striving to achieve international standard from designing of standard to unit technology in clean gasoline field. “Key Production Technology of Clean Diesel Meeting the State Emission Standard VI” project aims to solve the problems of the unit with increasing energy consumption and the catalyst life shortened sharply and to construct an updating quality platform for the State Emission Standard VI for diesel, which meets vital demands of updating diesel quality.
“Key Technology of Vegetable Based Lubricating Oil with High Performance” aims at breaking the bottleneck of performance defects and preparation technology for current vegetable based lubricating oil, to improve the production level of high-quality vegetable based lubricating oil in China.
The research results of the three projects will play an important role in promoting China’s gasoline and diesel quality to achieve the upgrading of State Emission Standard VI and the green production of lubricants oil.
