China Imposes Anti-Dumping Measures on BPA from Thailand

On March 6, 2017 the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOC) started to investigate bisphenol A (BPA) originating from Thailand. After investigating, MOC argues that Thailand dumps BPA to China and this has hurt China’s BPA industry.
Hence, MOC decided to impose provisional anti-dumping measures, effective November 9, 2017. According to the measures, importers have to pay cash deposits to China’s customs when importing mentioned BPA.
