SINOPEC-SK Breaks Ground on Extraction Project from Pyrolysis Gasoline

On October 20, SINOPEC-SK officially broke ground on extraction project from newly-build 27 000 tons pyrolysis gasoline. This project will be undertaken by Sinopec Engineering Incorporation (SEI) as general contractor, constructed for pile foundation by China North Industries Norengeo Ltd. as well as supervised by Luoyang Supervision Company, which lasts 500 days.
After its completion, the unit will recovery high-valued styrene from pyrolysis gasoline, and reduce the cost of ethylene unit and aromatics extraction unit, to improve the quality of mixed xylene.
