China Ends Anti-Dumping Measures on Spandex

Chinese government had imposed anti-dumping measures on spandex originating from Japan, Singapore, Korea, China Taiwan and the U.S. for five years, beginning October 13, 2006 and then extended them for another five years, from October 13, 2012 to October 12, 2017.
Domestic spandex firms or their representatives could apply for an expiry review at least two months before the date of expiry (October 12, 2017), the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOC) announced on November 7, 2016.
As no applications were submitted within the time limit, MOC decided not to conduct the expiry review and to terminate these anti-dumping measures upon expiry.
