Henkel Moves into New Asia-Pacific & Greater China Headquarters

Henkel recently moved into its new office in the Henkel Management Center (HMC) in Yangpu District, Shanghai, which will be the company’s new Asia-Pacific & Greater China Headquarters. Situated in the fast-growing New Jiangwan Town, the 23 952 sqm HMC will house around 1 500 Henkel employees in total. Henkel’s original site in Zhangjiang, Pudong District will continue to serve as its regional innovation hub.
“Henkel first moved our Asia-Pacific and Greater China Headquarters to Shanghai in 2007. Since then we have continued to deepen our presence and expand our investment in this region,” said Michelle Cheung, President of Henkel Asia-Pacific. “Today’s move to the Henkel Management Center further demonstrates the strategic importance of this market, and signals our intent to drive regional growth and achieve our ambitions under the Henkel 2020+ Strategy.”
Henkel has achieved significant growth in the Asia-Pacific region, with reported sales reaching Euro 3 246 million in 2016, and around 10 000 employees across 13 markets. It continuously strengthens its competitiveness through strategic investments to enhance regional productivity and innovation capabilities.
