Wastewater Treatment Contracts Signed for Two Coal-to-Gas Projects

Two wastewater treatment contracts were signed recently. They are the strong brine crystallizing project for Yili Xintian Coal Chemical’s 2 billion cubic meters (cbm) coal-based natural gas project and sewage treatment optimization and renovation project for Datang Keqi’s coal-based natural gas project. Partnered with Zhejiang Tiandi Environmental Protection Engineering Company, the RMB60 million strong-brine crystallizing project of Yili Xintian is designed to process 105 cbm/h of wastewater and listed by China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection as a environmental protection demonstration project of high salinity wastewater treatment and comprehensive utilization of crystalline salt.
Yili Xintian’s project requires concentration, salt split and crystallization of nanofiltration (NF) reverse osmosis (RO) concentrated water and NF concentrated water, ensures zero sewage discharge and recycles salt resources.
