Changling Refinery’s Catalytic Diesel Hydrogenation Conversion Unit Now on Stream

Sinopec Changling Refinery’s 1 million t/a catalytic diesel hydrogenation conversion unit was smoothly put into operation on July 15.
The RMB690 million-plant converts catalytic diesel into high-octane petroleum and low-sulfur clean diesel blending component through hydrogenation to produce petroleum and diesel that meet the National V Standard. This may significantly reduce air pollution and satisfy demand for clean oil products meeting National V Standard in the Hunan market.
The conversion plant, constructed by Sinopec’s Fourth Construction, a subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering, employs the country’s leading technology - FD2G technology, which is industrially applied for the first time in China.
