Sinopec’s “Or–An-Cang” Natural Gas Pipeline Approved


Sinopec’s “Ordos-Anping-Cangzhou (Or-An-Cang)” natural gas pipeline engineering project was finally approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said Sinopec’s Media Office on July 25.
The project, with a total investment of RMB34.4 billion, mainly includes construction of one main line and five branch lines. The combined length of lines amounts to around 2 293 kilometers, extending to Shenmu of Shaanxi province in the west, Cangzhou of Hebei province in the east, Puyang of Henan province in the south to join Wen 23 gas storage, and Xiong’an New Area in the north, crossing Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei and Henan provinces. The project is designed to transport 30 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.
