China Lowers Anti-dumping Duty Rate on LANXESS Polyamide-6

China’s government imposed anti-dumping measures on polyamide-6 (PA6) originating from the U.S., the EU, Russia and Taiwan for five years, beginning April 22, 2010, and then extended them for another five years, from April 22, 2016.
On May 20, 2016 LANXESS Deutschland GmbH and LANXESS N.V. applied for an interim review, stating their PA6’s dumping margins had been changed.
After investigation, the Ministry of Commerce of China decided to lower the anti-dumping duty rate, imposed on mentioned LANXESS PA6, to 8.2% from the former 23.9%, effective July 21, 2017.
