Xinjiang Energy Group’s Toksun Clean Energy Starts Polygeneration Project

Xinjiang Energy Group Toksun Clean Energy celebrated breaking ground for its polygeneration project at Toksun Yilahu Circular Economy Industrial Park on July 1.  
Taking advantage of high-quality coal resources in Toksun county, the quality-oriented comprehensive utilization coal plant is designed to produce clean coal, 1# and 2# light oil. The plan includes constantly increasing the plant’s added value.
With a total investment of RMB2.8 billion, the Phase I project covers an area of 1.068 million m2, processing 3 million t/a raw coal and co-producing 350 000 t/a hydrogenated coal tar. The plant’s annual income tax will average RMB220 million following the start-up of Phase I.
