National Government Helps Upgrade Solar PV Industry

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China recently issued Technical Standard System for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Industry, calling for enacting more detailed general and key standards by 2020 to help solar PV industry develop more soundly.
The document sets forth three major tasks:
* Establish a rational technical standard system. To realize this, it is wise to integrate standard enactment with actual demand of solar PV firms, integrate national standards with industry standards, and integrate domestic standards with international standards.
* Enact or revise urgently-needed standards, especially those mentioned in the document.
* Encourage enterprises and industry associations to play a bigger role.
