WinGD and Hyundai Heavy Industries Extend Licence Agreement for Another Ten Years

On April 17, 2017, Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. (WinGD) and Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI) signed an amendment to extend their current Licence Agreement for another ten years in Winterthur, Switzerland on 14 March 2017. The agreement covers the sale, manufacturing and servicing of WinGD low-speed marine engines. HHI is a long-standing member of the WinGD family of low-speed engine licensees.
   WinGD and HHI look back on a very long, successful and fruitful relationship. Besides building many engines, HHI has, over the years, also contributed to the development of WinGD low-speed engines and built the first examples of new engine types like the RT-flex82C/ 82T and X92.
