Sinofert Restructures Jilin Fertilizer Pesticide Group     

On December 30th, 2008 Sinofert Holdings Limited (HK: 0297) completed the acquisition of Jilin Fertilizer Pesticide Group Co., Ltd., and renamed it as Sinofert Jilin Changshan Co., Ltd.
   Sinofert Jilin Changshan, located in Songyuan of Jilin province, currently has a capability of producing 300 thousand tons of urea per year and 400 thousand tons of compound fertilizer per year, which is a leading fertilizer maker in northeastern China.
   Sinofert has held a 90.81% stake in Sinofert Jilin Changshan now, indicating a further consolidation of the leading position in the domestic fertilizer market for Sinofert. The company is committed to ensuring the supply of fertilizers in Chinese market.
