Jiangsu Jiuding Group Launches Biodegradable Plastic Project      

In November 2007, Jiangsu Jiuding Group started the construction on the 20 000 t/a biodegradable plastic project.
   In recent years Jiuding Group has invited experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences to offer technical guidance and completed a series of research projects. Major breakthroughs have been made in the production technology of biodegradable plastics. The company has become the enterprise that has first achieved the commercial production of biodegradable plastics in China. In the next three years the company will complete the 20 000 t/a biodegradable plastic plant in phases.
   Jiangsu Jiuding Group, located in Rugao of Jiangsu province, is mainly engaged in the production of fiberglass yarns and fabrics, biochemical, real estate, clothing and machine processing.
