Pulp-Making Production Line Suspends Production    

As the discharge of pulp-making sewage fails to reach standard of environmental protection, Shihezi Municipal Government has conducted compulsory closure to the pulp-making production line in Xinjiang Tianhong Papermaking Co., Ltd. (SH: 600419). It is expected that the production suspension will likely last for 5 months.
    The third-quarter 2007 performance of the company showed a loss of RMB1.68 million and the earning per-share of -RMB0.02. The loss was caused by the production suspension in its subsidiary Changde Tianhong Papermaking Co., Ltd. for pollution problem. It is expected that the company will probably suffer loss in the whole fiscal year of 2007.
