Eastman Introduces Eastman Solus TM 2100 Performance Additive  
   

On November 21st, 2007 Eastman Chemical Company introduces Eastman Solus TM 2100, a new performance additive for high-solids industrial 2-component (2K) paint systems. Market applications include refinish clearcoats, aerospace topcoats and coatings for plastics as well as industrial maintenance and refinish primers.
    Ideal for low-VOC systems, Eastman Solus TM 2100 offers faster dry-to-touch time, excellent anti-sag behavior, a wider window of polishability, improved gloss after polishing and ease of sanding. Coatings formulated with Eastman Solus TM 2100  have drying times of 15 percent to 30 percent faster than systems without the product, leading to significant improvements in productivity for refinish shops and OEM paint lines.
