Centralfluor and Daikin Kicks off Fluorine Chemical Project     

On October 29th, 2007 construction on the first phase of fluorine chemical project jointly invested by Zhejiang Centralfluor Industries Group Co., Ltd. (Centralfluor) and Daikin Industries Ltd. of Japan was started in Lushan, Jiujiang, Jiangxi province.
   Contract on the project was signed in December 2006 with a total investment of RMB550 million.
   The first phase of the project includes five anhydrous hydrogen fluoride production lines (each has a production capacity of 10 000 t/a), and is expected to start trial run in January 2009.
   Centralfluor is located in Jinhua, Zhejiang province. It is engaged in mineral mining/dressing, fluorine chemical production, financing/investment, real estate and import/export. Daikin is located in Osaka of Japan. It is engaged in the manufacturing of refrigerating and heating equipment, semiconductors and hydraulic machinery and the production of fluorine chemicals.
