Jinzhou Petrochemical Starts up 80 000 T/A Styrene Unit     

On November 4th, 2007 the 80 000 t/a ethyl benzene-styrene unit of CNPC Jinzhou Petrochemical Company Ltd. was completed and went on stream in Jinzhou, Liaoning province.
   With a total investment of RMB394 million and an area of 36 000 m2, construction on the unit was started on August 23rd, 2005. (CCR2005, No.26).
   Jinzhou Petrochemical Company Ltd. is a large petrochemical enterprise focusing on manufacturing asphalt, hemellitene, sulfolane and n-propanol.
  
Correction    

On page 12 of No.33 issue published on November 26th, 2006 the article titled "Wet Commissioning of 80 000 T/A Styrene Unit" included an error. It checked that CNPC Jinzhou Petrochemical Company Ltd. held an intermediate handing-over ceremony for the construction of its 80 000 t/a ethyl benzene-styrene unit, not held the wet commissioning of its 80 000 t/a ethyl benzene-styrene unit.
