Dushanzi Petrochemical Completes Chemical Water Treatment Unit      

On October 9th, 2007 the chemical water treatment unit of the 10.0 million t/a refining and 1.0 million t/a ethylene project in CNPC Dushanzi Petrochemical Company Ltd. was started trial run. It is one of the largest chemical water treatment units in China.
   The chemical water treatment unit in Dushanzi Petrochemical Company Ltd. was started construction on September 2005.
   The unit has a design processing capacity of 1 350 t/h for class -1 desalinated water and 2 150 t/h for class-2 desalinated water. Besides guaranteeing boiler makeup water, desalinated water can also be provided to the refining and chemical production zone of the 10.0 million t/a refining and 1.0 million t/a ethylene project.
   Dushanzi Petrochemical is a large refining and chemical integrate company in China, the capacity of processing crude oil is 6.0 million t/a and the production capacity of ethylene is 220 000 t/a.
