Weekly Report for September 24th-28th    

In the week September 24th-28th, the indexes of Shanghai Stock and Shenzhen Stock rocketed 1.79% and 3.49% respectively, seeming to congratulate China on National Day -  October 1st. Twp large IPO by China Construction Bank and China Shenhua Group happened in that week totally absorbed approximately RMB90 billion, which has not had any negative impact on the confidence of investors.
   Recently many companies announced that their performance in the third quarter will record a big growth compared with the same period of 2006, in particular, chemical fiber makers enjoyed more benefit from the rocketed price of chemical fibers. Among the list of weekly stock price increase, the first three positions are occupied by chemical fibers makers, they are Yunnan Yunwei (SH: 600725), Shandong HELON (SZ: 000677), Anhui Wanwei (SH: 600063).
   The IPO of PetroChina Company Ltd. in domestic stock market is expected to carry out at the end of October.
   The argument on 'foam or not' is the current highlight topic. Maybe no new policies for narrowing credit will be announced in October because an important conference will be held in mid-October in Beijing.
