China Resources Starts up 150 000 T/A Polyester Chip Production
Line

On August 22nd, 2007 China Resources Polyester (Changzhou) Co.,
Ltd., held an opening ceremony in Changzhou, Jiangsu province.
Meanwhile, the 50 000 t/a polyester chip production line went
on stream in the company.
    On April 20th, 2007 China Resources Petrochems Investment
Limited established China Resources Polyester (Changzhou) Co.,
Ltd., that purchased the assets of the former Changzhou
Worldbest Radici on May 15th, 2007. Another 40 000 t/a and 80
000 t/a polyester chip production line will start production at
the end of 2007 in China Resources Polyester (Changzhou) Co.,
Ltd. so that its total polyester chip capacity will reach 270
000 t/a.
