Yuntianhua International Starts up 300 000 T/A Phosphoric Acid
Unit

On August 15th, 2007 Yunnan Yuntianhua International Chemical
Co., Ltd. (Yuntianhua International) successfully conducted
trial run on its 300 000 t/a phosphoric acid unit in Kunming,
Yunnan province. Construction on the unit was started in April
2006 and undertaken by Furui Branch Company of Yuntianhua
International. On August 10th, 2007 the 300 000 t/a phosphoric
acid unit conducted wet commissioning and manufactured
qualified concentrated phosphoric acid products on August 15th.
    With a total schedule investment of RMB840 million, the
national phosphate compound fertilizer base project in
Yuntianhua International is planned to complete the 800 000 t/a
sulfuric acid unit, 300 000 t/a phosphoric acid unit and 600 000
t/a ammonium phosphate and some matched facilities in 2007. The
startup of the 300 000 t/a phosphoric acid unit as the core of
the above 3 units will promote the all-round completion of the
national phosphate compound fertilizer base project.
    Established on September 19th, 2006, Yuntianhua
International is the reformation and merging conducted by
Yuantianhua Group to its subordinate companies including Yunnan
Three Circles Chemicals Co., Ltd., Yunnan Furui Chemical Co.,
Ltd., Yunnan Honglin Chemical Co., Ltd., Yunnan Jiangchuan
Tianhu Chemical Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Yunfeng Chemical Industry
Co., Ltd. (CCR2006, No. 28) The new company is engaged in the
production of concentrated phosphate compound fertilizers and
special compound fertilizers.
