Tianfu Thermoelectric Completes Silicon Carbide Crystal Project

The 3 silicon carbide crystal growth furnaces recently installed
by Xinjiang Tianfu Thermoelectric Co., Ltd. (Tianfu
Thermoelectic, SH: 600509) have made normal debugging and
operation. Silicon carbide crystal produced has already been
taken to clients for use. The company has completed all the steps
of the industrial chain including crystal growth, cutting,
grinding and polishing. To ensure a smooth execution of the
silicon carbide project in the second half of the year, the
company has purchased more crystal growth furnaces. The first
lot is expected to be delivered in September 2007 and their
installation and debugging will soon begin. The capacity of
silicon carbide crystal in the company is expected to reach 28
000 pieces a year in October 2007.
   Tianfu Thermoelectric is the only silicon carbide crystal
producer in China. Silicon carbide is an abrasion-resistant
material with high strength and great hardness.
