Sanmu Group Completes Etherified Amino Resin Expansion Project

The 10 000 t/a etherified amino resin expansion project in
Jiangsu Sanmu Group is recently completed and has conducted
successful trial production in Yixing, Jiangsu province. The
total investment of the project is nearly RMB20 million.
   The project was launched at the end of 2006. Zero emission
of etherified resin waste water is achieved in the production.
Another feature is that the semi-continuous production is
completed through 3 steps in feeding tank, etherification tank
and alcohol removal tank. In this way continuous feeding can be
made. Not only production efficiency and output can be increased,
product quality can also be ensured.
   Etherified amino resins are products with different
etherification degrees and polymerization degrees made through
the polycondensation between melamine and formaldehyde and the
etherification with methanol.
