Xinxing Group Breaks Ground EO Project

Jilin Bohai Biochemical Company Ltd. broke ground for its 60 000
t/a methanol-to-EO (ethylene oxide) project in Jilin Economic
Development Zone, Jilin province. The whole project covering an
area of 150 000 square meters will be constructed by two phases.
The first-phase with an investment of RMB700 million will make
use of biochemical methanol as raw material to manufacture 60
000 t/a ethylene oxide. The annual sales revenue is expected to
be added by RMB800 million per year in the company after the
completion of the first phase. The second phase will make use
of EO as raw material to manufacture 100 000 t/a relevant
derivatives.
  Jilin Bohai Biochemical Company Ltd. is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Dalian Xinxing Group in Jilin Economic Development
Zone.
