NCIC Puts on Stream 15 000 T/A Antioxidant RD Unit

On April 28th, 2007 Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
(NCIC) put on stream its newly built 15 000 t/a antioxidant RD
unit in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. Construction on the unit was
started on August 1st, 2006. Intermediate handing over was
conducted on February 5th, 2007. (CCR2007, No.7) This unit is
one of NCIC's resource optimization project, which also includes
the relocation of another 15 000 t/a antioxidant RD unit.
   RD (abbreviation as 2, 2, 4-dimethyl-1, 2-dihydroquinoline)
is an antioxidant, mainly be added in the production of airplane
tires, radial tires and cables.
