Jiangxi New Area Completes Bio-Diesel Production Line

The 60 t/d bio-diesel production line with scrap vegetable oil
as raw material and using the methanol vapor-phase process
developed by China itself was completed and put on stream in
Jiangxi New Area Oil & Fats Industry Co., Ltd. (Jiangxi New Area)
located in Duchang Industrial Demonstration Park, Jiujiang,
Jiangxi province.
   Tests made by Jiangxi Product Quality Supervision and
Inspection Institute prove that all the quality indexes of
bio-diesel produced in the company have reached or surpassed the
national standard for vehicle petroleum diesel. After a trial
running for nearly one month, vehicles have stable operation and
powerful drive, there is no odor of diesel in tail gas and the
effect on oil consumption reduction is remarkable. Compared with
superior-grade light diesel, the sulfur content of bio-diesel
is less than one tenth, the 10% residue is reduced by 34% and
the price is lower than petroleum diesel. It can be used in
engines independently or as blend with petroleum diesel. It can
also greatly reduce the emission of hazardous substances in
vehicle tail gas.
