Large Lead-Zinc Deposit Discovered in North Hebei
A large lead-zinc deposit has recently been dis-covered 90 km northwest
of Longhua County in North Hebei. The proven reserve is 1 million tons
. According to the Bureau of Geology and Minerals  of  Longhua  County,
the deposit can be divided into 8 zones. After the completion  of  the
zones, the annual output of lead-zinc concentrate can reach more  than
100 000 tons. The lead-zinc grade is 10%. There  are  also  associated
minerals such as sulfur and molybdenum in the deposit.
