Activated Carbon of Datong Sold to the United States
Shanxi  Datong  Minerals  Bureau  has  signed  a  contract  with  Enviolub of
the United States on the export of 720 tons of activated carbon each year.
The activated carbon plant with a total investment of 40 million  yuan    and
a design capacity of 10  000  t/a  started  construction  in  1996  and  was
completed and put into operation in September 1997.
