On January 18th, 2010 Nanjing Rongxin Chemical Co., Ltd. (Nanjing Rongxin) conducted wet commissioning in Nanjing Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. on a project that can annually produce 10 000 tons of environmentally friendly solvent chemicals like propionaldehyde, n-propyl acetate, n-psropanol and etc.
   The company confirms a bright prospect for the project, because the Chinese government requires much more for safety and environment protection in food packaging after the melamine scandal and these chemicals can replace the toxic benzene series as solvent in food-packaging segment. It projected to add an annual sales revenue of RMB128 million and net profit of RMB19.6 million for the company when full operational.
